Grounds

Set on 418 acres of glacial “kettle morraine” land, surrounded by a 27-hole professional golf course. We are still close enough to access all city amenities, but far enough away to be serenely private.  

The grounds at Colombiere Center are breathtaking in any season.  

A 15-acre Habitat Restoration Project is underway, restoring some or our monoculture grasses into about 40 different varieties of Michigan’s original prairie and woodland cover.  

There is an abundance of wildlife that can be viewed from inside or outside which includes deer, squirrels, wild turkeys, Sand Hill Cranes and various other types of birds 

Gardens and extensive pathways are open for quiet walks, for spiritual reflection, healing and enlightenment. 

A well-kept Jesuit cemetery contains the presence and memory of over 380 brothers.
